Sarah Liddle (pictured) is the owner and founder from near Bedale in North Yorkshire, England.

I founded the business in 2008, which was ultimately possible due to the invaluable support of friends and family. Moreover they have been of valuable assistance as the business and the services we offer have grown.

Sarah Jarvis, a farmers daughter with a keen interest and understanding of the industry joined the business full time in 2009 and any callers may get either her or myself on the end of the phone.

There are also a multitude of other local and further afield staff who help on an ad hoc, self employed basis, depending on the job and time scales.

I personally have spent many years heavily involved in agriculture especially the dairy sector. I completed a BSC Hons in Agriculture at Newcastle in the mid 1990’s and grew up with the  award winning Dalesend herd of pedigree Holsteins.
I have spent many years showing, preparing and working with this and other well known herds in the North East as well as traveling and working in Canada. Other interests include the North Eastern Holstein Club, where I have been Chairman and also completed two stints as secretary. I was also very involved in YFC and with the Wensleydale Show.

In terms of employment - I was employed by Semen World and Semex (for nearly 8 years) before working with Holstein UK, the Holstein Breed Society, where I sourced and wrote editorial as well as selling and designing advertising. All of this has given me a wealth of experience and understanding of farmers needs.

Latterly since establishing The Farm Organisation I have regularly contributed to The Northern Farmer and have also farmed in my own right. If you want a grass roots service then have no fear, I have milked cows on a daily basis and sold dairy produce direct to the customer on farmers markets - when I say we have extensive knowledge - I truly mean it!!
